By accessing or using Life Organizer (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data.

4. Description of Service

Life Organizer is a personal productivity and wellness application that helps users organize their habits, tasks, goals, health metrics, journal entries, and other personal data.

The Service is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

5. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Subscription Plans and Pricing

The Service offers the following plans:

• Starter (Free)Free plan with limited features. Includes a limited number of habits, goals, and journal entries.
• Pro ($9/month)Monthly subscription with unlimited access to all features, including AI coaching, integrations, and advanced metrics.
• Lifetime ($199 one-time)One-time payment for permanent access to all Pro features, plus beta features, priority support, and a founder's badge.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes for active subscriptions will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle. We will notify you of any price changes in advance.

7. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of the Pro plan. A valid payment method (credit/debit card) is required to start the trial.

If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be automatically charged the Pro subscription fee.

Each user is entitled to one free trial only.

8. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed by our payment partner, Polar.sh. By making a purchase, you also agree to Polar.sh's terms of service.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You can manage your subscription and billing information through the Polar.sh customer portal, accessible from the Settings page within the Service.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Polar.sh customer portal. After cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided.

Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

If your subscription ends and you have more data than the Starter plan allows, you will be asked to select which items to keep within the Starter limits.

10. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features, such as the AI Life Coach. These features are provided for informational and motivational purposes only.

AI features are currently included in the Pro and Lifetime plans. However, we reserve the right to change the pricing model for AI features in the future, including but not limited to introducing credit-based billing. This means AI features may not remain included at no additional cost for Lifetime plan holders indefinitely.

We will notify users in advance of any changes to AI feature pricing or availability.

11. User Data and Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content and data you create within the Service (including but not limited to habits, journal entries, goals, tasks, body metrics, and notes).

We do not claim any ownership rights over your data. We will not sell, share, or use your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

You may export or delete your data at any time. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted. This includes all habits, tasks, goals, journal entries, body metrics, and any other personal data associated with your account.

We cannot recover deleted accounts or data. Please make sure to export any data you wish to keep before deleting your account.

13. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services. These integrations are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is at your own risk.

We may add or remove third-party integrations at any time.

14. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

15. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, and content (excluding user-generated content), is the property of Backlog Fejlesztő Kft. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Backlog Fejlesztő Kft. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is not designed for critical or life-sustaining applications. You should not rely solely on the Service for important health, safety, or financial decisions.

17. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service, other users, or Backlog Fejlesztő Kft.

Upon termination for violation, you may lose access to your account and data without prior notice or refund.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Budapest, Hungary.
